Folder to Tag is an Obsidian plugin that automatically adds a tag to a note based on the folder in which the note is located. I created this plugin because I like to organize my notes into folders, but I also want to take advantage of tags. With this plugin, I no longer have to manually add tags to my notes; instead, they are automatically added based on the folder structure I’ve already set up.
The plugin offers several options, allowing you to specify how deep into the folder hierarchy the tags should go, or whether a prefix or suffix should be added to the tag.
